Harlee came home from school the other day and told me that we were going to have to watch the news tomorrow because it was GroundHog Day. When I asked her what that meant this is what she said:
"On GroundHog Day a very special GroundHog comes out of the ground and if he sees his shadow that means we have six more weeks of Christmas. If he doesn't see his shadow that means spring is coming."
On GroundHog day she got up and the very first thing she said was mom turn on the news, which was actually already on. Apparently the "GroundHog prediction" wasn't top news that morning because of the riots in Egypt, which totally frustrated her. So we got on the Internet and looked it up and sure enough the GroundHog did not see his shadow, so spring is on its way. She also added that means Keyton is coming home soon. It is going to be a long wait until they get back in June. So cheers to the GroundHog and that spring is on its way. This household is so ready!
She is such a funny little girl!

Yeah Harlee spring is on its way maybe we can go to the lake together soon. Oh wait I think it is still frozen but we at least have hope.
